Judges comments - July/August 2017

'Really welcoming and prompt. Mentioned GF and nut free and the manager was un-phased.'

'Excellent selection of naturally free from dishes across the menu which was labelled with DF, Vegan and NGI options. When asked about the NGI labelling they said because they do have gluten on site they don't want to mislead people about being 'certified' GF which gave me confidence. When asked about nuts and egg and dairy in combination they said they can definitely cater for it and prefer to have advance notice to make sure they have a great offer for the customer.'

'Fantastic proper Indian cooking. (I know I lived there!) The dosa was packed with potato curry and the bahji were small, crisp and flavoursome. Not a soggy bit of batter anywhere! Nimbu panni (Indian lemonade) was authentic too! No compromise felt here!'

'Loved this place. Much of the menu is naturally allergen free but I think they could make more of the allergen free options for ease of selection on the menu. Big focus on gluten free and dairy free... but there is a real confidence in catering for allergies. I would happily take my nut and egg allergic sister in law there.'
